i have earned a bachelors of science in nursing, a bachelors of health science, & a masters in oriental medicine. i have been a registered nurse since 1984 and have practiced nursing for over 40 years in behavioral health & post anesthesia care. 

i began studying acupuncture in tahlequah, oklahoma under the guidance and teaching of jeff nicholson in 1994. oklahoma is one of the few states that does not regulate or license acupuncturists, therefore, i studied at atlantic institute of oriental medicine, in ft lauderdale, fl and obtained a bachelors of science degree and a masters of oriental medicine degree. i am a diplopmat of acupuncture under the nccaom (dipl, ac),

 a diplomate of acupuncture is an acupuncturist who is certified by the NCCAOM. It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation diplomate of acupuncture (NCCAOM). NCCAOM certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture as defined by the acupuncture and oriental medicine (AOM) profession. national board certification in acupuncture has been the mark of excellence in AOM since the inception of the commission in 1982. every certified NCCAOM diplomate must abide by the NCCAOM® code of ethics.

i am qualified as a reiki master (02-02-2020), as well as completing level 2 reiki practitioner; level one reiki practitioner; usui reiki lineage

usui encouraged the use of these principles in reiki practice but also in everyday life to enhance wellness.

reiki level 2: second degree. level 2 is often defined by a focus on practicing reiki on others, as well as an expanded opening of the energy channels. additionally students receive the "reiki symbols" and level 2 attunement
